China Media Group (CMG) put its new artificial intelligence building into operation in Beijing on Friday. The building gathers CMG's cutting-edge technologies and innovation achievements in the field of AI. It will provide technical support and service guarantee for content production and innovation in the transmission modes of the state media conglomerate. A 2.0 version of the large audiovisual AI model of CCTV, the national television broadcaster, was also brought online. A new white paper on CMG's development in the field of AI was also released at the event.

China's national platform for public data resource registration was put into service on Saturday, according to the National Data Administration (NDA). The national platform introduced a range of national public data categories, including medical insurance, education and meteorology. The platform will allow data providers to publish information about data resources and products, while enabling users to search for data.

China's research icebreaker Xuelong 2 has concluded the country's 41st Antarctic expedition. The team departed from the Amundsen Sea in the western hemisphere of Antarctica and crossed the ocean to reach the Ross Sea area in the eastern hemisphere. The survey successfully collected biological, sedimentary, and seawater samples from the surface to a depth of 4,000 meters in the Southern Ocean. Through in-depth analysis of these samples, scientists will further uncover trends in changes to the Antarctic marine ecosystem under the influence of global climate change.

The "China Travel with Chinese Films" cultural and tourism experience event was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. Foreign tourists, as well as international students studying in Sichuan, immersed themselves in the country's Bashu culture through various activities, including on-site film screenings, cultural experiences, and exploring historical sites.
