The city-themed mini series Lai Chong Qing, Kan Nan An (Visit Chongqing, Visit Nan'an), jointly produced by the Chongqing Nan'an District Sports Development Center and Chongqing TV Film and Television Center, premiered simultaneously on October 11 via Chongqing TV, the Di Yi Yan news app, and Chongqing TV's WeChat Video Account.
The mini series aims to deeply explore and showcase the unique sports vitality and cultural tourism charm of Nan'an District through engaging visual storytelling. Focusing on the district's signature sports and tourism routes in Nan'an District., the production unfolds through two independent yet interconnected story units Nan Shan Chapter and Nanbin Road Chapter. Each chapter presents a distinct facet of Nanshan and the urban vitality of Nanbin Road, seamlessly blending sports spirit with Chongqing's landscape and cityscapes. The series captures the rhythm of Nan'an's active lifestyle and its evolving image as a destination where culture, tourism, and sports converge.
Chao Zhou Qi Tan (Chaozhou Fantasia) Begins Filming
On October 10, the filming ceremony for the Chaoshan folk-fantasy mini series Chao Zhou Qi Tan (Chaozhou Fantasia) was held at the Chaozhou Theater. The series weaves together Chaoshan people's emotions, traditions, and intergenerational bonds through five unit stories, attempting to break down barriers in traditional cultural communication with youthful narrative style, serving as a cinematic "family letter" for the upcoming 23rd Convention of Teochew International Federation. Currently, several unit story themes have already been confirmed.
Guangxi Hechi Converged Media Center's AI Mini Series Debuts on Commercial Platform
The AI mini series Ding Ka Hua Chuan Qi (The Legend of Dingka Flowers) independently produced by Hechi Converged Media Center, has officially launched on the Manju channel of the Hongguo short drama platform. This marks the first time that AI-produced mini series by Hechi Converged Media has entered a commercial video platform—a key milestone signaling its transition from "official platform distribution" to "commercial market expansion."
Comprising 10 episodes, this AI mini series is adapted from the classic folk story Hua Zhu Mao Chuan Shuo (The Legend of the Bamboo Hat) from Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County in Guangxi. By integrating Maonan ethnic culture with emotional storytelling, the drama vividly depicts the coming-of-age journey and inner strength of Tai Lingying, a young Maonan girl.
Mini Series 1945 Zhe Tiao Lu Jiao Shou Xiang Lu (1945 The Road of Surrender) Premieres Online
On October 10, the 30-episode original mini series 1945 Zhe Tiao Lu Jiao Shou Xiang Lu (1945 The Road of Surrender), produced by Haile Pictures, was officially released on multiple platforms, including the Hongguo short drama platform, iQIYI, Fanqie Novel, and Tencent Video. Through a lightweight audio-visual approach, the series revives Luohe's unique wartime memories from the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
Based on real historical events, the story unfolds through a fictional narrative centered on protecting the cultural treasure Zhong Hua Han Zi Yuan Liu Pu (The Origins of Chinese Characters). It intertwines personal fate with national history, vividly portraying the profound patriotism and enduring cultural confidence of the Chinese people.
Shenzhen Announces List of Outstanding Government New Media Works for September
The list of outstanding works in the "Integrated Innovation" and "Information Release" categories for September 2025 on Shenzhen's government new media platforms has been announced. Among the selected works are the AI-empowered anti-Japanese war Mini Series Feng Huo Peng Cheng (Flames of Pengcheng) (Futian Media Center), Hao Jiao Xing Shan He (The Horn Awakens the Mountains and Rivers) (Shenzhen Longgang Release), and Qi Ji Guang Ming (7 Legendaries of Guangming) (Shenzhen Guangming), along with seven other works included in the "Integrated Innovation" category.
The list is curated by the People's Daily Online Shenzhen Public Opinion Department. Its purpose is to explore and enhance the evaluation system for all-media production and communication, encourage innovation in content, form, and technology, promote media integration, and tell Shenzhen's stories in a more compelling and dynamic way.
Baystage Cross-Strait Mini Series Industrial Park Set to Open at the End of October
During the National Day holiday, construction at the Baystage Cross-Strait Mini Series Industrial Park in the Quanzhou Taiwanese Businessmen Investment Zone continued at full speed, with the project accelerating toward completion. The first phase of the park is scheduled to officially open at the end of October.
Spanning 230 mu (approximately 15 hectares) , the industrial park features 62,000 square meters of completed buildings. It is designed to become a comprehensive film and television base, integrating various functions, including film and mini series production, post-production, exhibitions and exchanges, cultural tourism, talent training, and parent–child experiential learning.
