China Movie Capital's Mini Series Industry Development Marks One Year: 93 Industry Chain Enterprises Have Settled In

On November 22, the first anniversary achievement conference of the China Movie Capital's mini series industry development was held at the Guanghua Vision Park in Beijing's Huairou District. Since its establishment, China Movie Capital has attracted 93 enterprises from across the mini series industry chain, reflecting a 50% increase compared with the period before the policy's implementation. Notably, 41 new enterprises joined in the third quarter of this year alone, covering the full spectrum of the industry,  from creation and filming to post-production and distribution. Over the past year, 590 film and television productions were made or registered at China Movie Capital, including 190 mini series, which accounted for nearly one-third of the total. The success of high-quality productions such as Ying Du De Ping Xing Shi Jie (Parallel World of the Movie Capital) and Da Ye Yu You Ai (Uncle Yu Youai) marks a key milestone in the evolution of the Movie Capital's mini series sector, shifting from "high traffic" to "high quality."

Nanning: From Mini Series Filming Location to Hub of Industrial Innovation

Nanning is now home to 1,255 mini series-related enterprises. What began as an unexpected success has evolved into a thriving hub for industry clustering, with the city becoming both a popular filming location and a magnet for businesses. Nanning is now focused on leveraging policy support, technological innovation, and service upgrades to transition from a filming site to a center of industrial innovation and research. At the Beitou · Mingyuehui Film and Television Base, located on the east bank downstream of Nanning's Mingyue Lake Park, 18 brightly colored urban streetscape buildings attract attention. The base has currently introduced several professional film and television institutions, including Guangxi Lianying Film and Television and Jisuguang Photography. It plans to film over 100 mini series in its first year and distribute 3,000 series both domestically and internationally. Since the beginning of this year, more than 40 long- and short-form series—such as Long Gu Fen Xiang (Burning Dragon-Bone Casket) and Sa Wa Di Ka—Tai Jing Qi Yuan (Sawadika—The Thai Adventure), have filmed at the base, taking advantage of the base's diverse scenes, filming equipment, and comprehensive one-stop services, including policy consultation, location scouting assistance, actor recruitment, and accommodation and transportation arrangements.
